Timeline:

1994 – foundation of E energija group from an engineering company;

1997 – renewed district heating systems in mid-size Lithuania cities;

2000 – step into long term concession contracts in Lithuania district heating sector;

2002 – started to provide energy for industry customers;

2005 – long term concession contract in Latvia;

2005 – start of carbon credit business;

2007 – step into long term concession contract in Ukraine district heating market (40 years contract);

2008 – EBRD became a shareholder of UAB "E enegija" and signed a 15 mio EUR long term loan agreement;

Today E energija companies actively seek to achieve that the restrictions on the greenhouse effect gas emissions become part of their business processes, increase the operational efficiency of energy generation equipment and the share of alternative energy in the balance of energy generation.
